Youth Services Program Manager

Hours

40 hours per week 

Position Summary

The Youth Services Program Manager (YSPM) provides overarching leadership in the implementation, management, and evaluation of an array of services in collaboration with the Clinical Director.  These services include diagnostic assessment, crisis intervention, outpatient counseling, case management, pharmacological management, and Home-Based Services.  The YSPM provides administrative and clinical supervision for assigned staff in the Youth and School-Based Service Programs and ensures adherence to evidence-based practices. 
 
The YSPM provides leadership in the mental health arena for the Medina County Inter-Agency Collaborative Assessment Team (ICAT).  YSPM shall coordinate and participate in agency Quality Improvement activities to ensure the provision of quality services to persons in the program.  The YSPM will work collaboratively with other members of the leadership team and the community to increase access to the youth services department while developing community partnerships.  
 

Education

Master’s degree in the behavioral health field with license as a LPCC-S or LISW-S; LPCC-S preferred.  Advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of mental and severe emotional disorders as well as in clinical supervision.

Experience

Minimum of 2 to 5 years of increasing responsibility in providing direct service and supervision in the behavioral healthcare field.   Experience with trauma-informed care and evidence-based interventions for youth preferred.

Qualifications

Must demonstrate strong skills in clinical work, supervision, community education, program development, implementation, and evaluation.  Must have the ability to manage and track multiple tasks simultaneously as well as demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, patience, organization, and an openness to the individuality of others.     Experience in providing clinical services to children and adolescents is required. Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel) and utilizing electronic medical records systems.
