Position Summary

The person in this role welcomes and assists in-person visitors/clients while operating a multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls and direct callers to appropriate staff members.  Maintains & schedules appointments for agency prescribers and documents in the Electronic Medical Record.    Provides administrative support to various departments as needed.

Education

High school diploma minimum

Experience

2-3 years prior paid related work experience in a behavioral health office setting, including operating a multi-line phone system.  Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs Word and Excel.  Experience with the Credible Electronic Medical Record platform a plus.

Qualifications

Excellent oral and written skills.  Must have the ability to multi-task.  Proficiency and accuracy in typing, data entry/computer skills, and general secretarial duties.  Adaptable, responsible, cooperative, patient, ethical, and personable.  Excellent social skills in engaging and assisting the general public and clients, customer service skills.  Ability to calmly interact with clients under stressful situations.  Understanding of unique needs of clients served helpful.  Ability to communicate and work closely as a team within departmental shared duties.
