Outpatient Services Manager


40 hours per week 

Position Summary

Provide leadership to the Adult Outpatient Services Program and oversee the day-to-day clinical and administrative operations.  Promote the mission of Alternative Paths, Inc., a culture of clinical excellence, professional development and provide administrative and clinical supervision to team members. 
Ensure the program's financial and clinical deliverables are achieved and documentation is adherent with certification and accreditation standards and completed within established timelines.  Lead individual and team clinical meetings and provide supervision on an on-going basis, to include, but not limited to, clinical program review, productivity, caseloads, and client assessments, progress, and discharge summaries.  Attend treatment team meetings and participate with other interdisciplinary teams.  Promote team members' ongoing professional development.  
Provide a percentage of time performing billable direct services, including assessments and individual counseling.  Participate in staff recruitment, and oversee new staff on-boarding and retention.  Complete performance evaluations.  Support and guide staff to reach goals, objectives, and service delivery outcomes. Supervise assigned Interns. 
Serve as a member of the Leadership Team and Executive QI Committee.  Establish and maintain professional relationships with community services and resources.  Facilitate intra and inter-agency referrals.  Serve as a member of the Leadership Team.  Participate in Quality Improvement and change projects, and remain knowledgeable of standards pertaining to service delivery and operations. 


Master’s degree in mental health counseling and independent licensure with supervisory endorsement in the state of Ohio, LPCC-S preferred.  Additional licensure through the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board is preferred.  


Five years of progressive and demonstrated leadership and experience in the behavioral health field, providing treatment to adults and clinical supervision.  Prior experience in program planning, development, implementation and evaluation.  Familiarity with Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, and evidence-based practices.


They must have the ability to manage and track many tasks simultaneously as well as demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, collaboration, mediation, patience, and organization. Outpatient Manager shall be open to the individuality of others and able to establish professional rapport.  Demonstration of strong oral and writing skills is critical to the role.  Proficiency in working with electronic medical records. Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel).
