Services

Alternative Paths’ provides mental health services to juveniles detained at the Medina County Juvenile Detention Center. An initial mental health assessment is provided to the juveniles to ensure their own safety and the safety of the others. Mental health services in the detention center include mental health assessment, individual counseling, group counseling, and case management services. The staff work with families as well as community agencies and court staff to develop a plan of services for the juveniles that can be implemented when the juvenile returns to the community.
